GENERAL QUESTIONS

  • The Keep Austin Weird Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, rain or shine, at Fiesta Gardens tucked on the shores of Lady Bird Lake at 2101 Jesse E Segovia Street in Austin, TX 78702. The Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil will run from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm (VIP ticket holders may enter early at 11:00 am). ** Please note we will close the event entry gates at 7:30pm, so we encourage arrival prior to then in order for you to maximize your Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil experience and tasting adventure.

  • We have several ways to enjoy the Crawfish Boil: General Admission, GA+, and VIP. Children 10 and under are complimentary with a ticketed adult. *Additional service charges and taxes apply.

  • We are preparing over 10,000 lbs of crawfish and have committed to having enough for everyone who purchases a ticket that includes pre-paid crawfish.

    If the event runs out of crawfish on May 14 and you've purchased a ticket that includes pre-paid crawfish we will refund the food portion of your ticket.

  • Our partner, Sailor Made Events will be hosting several cornhole tournaments throughout the day. Sit-N-Go’s are more casual, while Bring Your Own Partner is more competitive.

    Sit-N-Go’s ($25 / team): Sign up starting at 11:00AM and games starting at 12:00PM. Games will run hourly throughout the day.

    Sit-N-Go Categories: ​Competitive, Novice, ​Kids ages 10-15, Ladies, and Family.

    Sit-N-Go Prizes: Official event merch, food and drink on-site.

    Bring Your Own Partner ($40 / team): Teams will enter a double elimination tournament starting at 2:00PM.

  • Admission begins at 11:00am for VIP guests, and at 12:00pm for General Admission and GA+ ticket holders. The Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil event will end promptly at 8:00pm for all guests.

  • The Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil is family friendly and all ages are welcome, however event tickets are required for all guests ages 11 and over. Children 10 and under receive free event entry with a ticketed adult. Note: Crawfish redemption is a la carte or for ticketed guests depending on their admission option.

  • There is no designated event parking. Parking is available around Fiesta Gardens and Lady Bird Lake at no cost, but it is limited and first-come, first-served. Parking is available on the streets around and surrounding Fiesta Gardens. We especially encourage attendees to try and park WEST of the venue if at all possible to avoid the neighborhood. West of the venue there is parking on both sides of the street on Comal immediately West of Martin Middle School. Martin Middle School has parking lots on the North side and at the intersection of Comal and Nash Hernandez St. There is also a parking lot on the Northeast corner of Martin Middle School. Heading East on Nash Hernandez Blvd from Comal St. there is parking on one side of the road on the lower and upper sections of the road, and to the end of Nash Hernandez Blvd. Further West from the venue Waller Street has parking as well. If you park in the blocks surrounding the venue on Riverview, Haskell, Holly or the cross streets like Chalmers, Chicon, Lynn and Anthony, keep in mind you are in a residential neighborhood. Street parking in the surrounding neighborhood is discouraged and may require permits. Please be respectful of the surrounding neighborhood. Pay attention to city signage and street parking guidelines, and please do not block driveways. City street and paid lot parking is available on a first-come-first-served basic surrounding the event. You should also plan to give yourself plenty of time to arrive to the Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil as downtown Austin traffic may be congested or delayed.

  • Dogs and other pets are NOT permitted into the event. While we are also dog and pet lovers, we ask that you keep your pups at home.

  • Re-entry will not be permitted.

  • Barring any extreme weather, lightning, or city park closures, the Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil is RAIN or SHINE. Tickets for outdoor events are purchased at risk of inclement weather. Some areas of the event are located on natural terrain, so if it rains, there may be mud in some places. Please be prepared for weather and long distances.

  • Once you arrive at the Keep Austin Weird Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil, enter the lane according to your ticket type. Options are:

    VIP ENTRANCE: VIP ticket holders can enter starting at 11am via our Main Entrance or exclusive VIP Entrance. The VIP Entrance is located on Chicon Street, just right of the main admission entrance. Look for appropriate VIP Entrance signage.

    MAIN ENTRANCE: Entrance for all prepaid General Admission and GA+ guests located on Chicon & Jesse E. Segovia Streets, starting at 12 pm. Children ages 10 and under are complimentary with a ticketed adult. VIP & Hospitality guests can also enter via the main gates.

    ADA ENTRANCE: There is a special designated ADA lane at the main event entrance at Chicon & Jesse E. Segovia Streets for patrons allowing extra space and entry. Look for the wheelchair signs above the entrance lanes or ask a volunteer to direct you to the appropriate area.

    HOSPITALITY/PRIVATE PARTY ENTRANCE: Hospitality Entrance is located on Jesse E. Segovia Streets. Hospitality ticket required for access at this gate.

  • Portable restrooms (including accessible portables) will be available throughout the park. VIP pass holders also have access to a private VIP lounge area with premium bathrooms.

  • ALLOWED:

    -Blankets

    -Umbrellas (small hand-held style)

    -Strollers

    -Small Wagons

    -Binoculars

    -Personal Handheld Walkie Talkies

    -Personal Cameras, including digital cameras, DSLR's with stock lenses, point-and-shoot cameras, and traditional film cameras

    -Chairs

    -One (1) factory sealed 20 oz. bottle of water per person"

    PROHIBITED:

    -Dogs and other pets

    -Firearms of any kind

    -Other weapons of any kind

    -Smoking or Vaping inside the event grounds

    -Drones or any flying objects

    -Alcohol, Drugs, and other illegal substances

    -Coolers

    -Glass Containers

    -Skateboards, scooters, or personalized motor vehicles

    -Bicycles inside the Fest (bike racks and bike parking are available near the entrance)

    -Fireworks and other Explosives

    -Outside food and beverage (except 1 factory sealed 20 oz. water per person)

    -Unauthorized / Unlicensed Vendors

    All guests and belongings may be searched when entering the event grounds. Any prohibited items will be confiscated and event entry may be denied at the discretion of APD or event Staff/Security.

  • The ride share drop off will be located by Fiesta Gardens at the intersection of Chicon & Jesse E. Segovia Streets. Ride share pick up will be at the same location. Drivers are unable to drop off closer to the entrance due to street closures and pedestrian traffic, and they should be instructed thru their company to use this designate drop off and pick up location.

  • By attending the Keep Austin Weird Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil, you are voluntarily assuming all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 or any other disease. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell.

  • Emergency medical staff will be available on site. If you need any assistance, look for a guest services help kiosk, a police officer, or a Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil staff member.

  • The Keep Austin Weird Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil and producers work at the direction of the Austin Police Department and city officials to create safety and security plans that will provide all patrons high quality and safe experiences. The Austin Police Department maintains a command center within the event and provides police officers around Fiesta Gardens throughout the event. The event also provides supplemental security personnel to work with the Police Department to assist patrons. All guests and belongings may be searched when entering the event grounds.

  • Each Guest will receive an event wristband upon entry corresponding with their ticket/admission option. GA+ and VIP ticket holders will also receive vouchers for Crawfish and beverage options included with that admission type. There will be multiple "Crawfish Pickup" tents located on-site to redeem your voucher at. Dedicated lanes will be identified with signage at each tent for VIP, GA+ and For Purchase pickup lanes. No cash value or refunds issued for any unused food or beverages. Children 10 and under do not include crawfish with their complimentary admission, but a la carte Crawfish is available for purchase while supplies last and other local food trucks and vendors have items for purchase.

  • Throughout the event, you’ll find several areas offering a variety of local Austin flavors from your favorite restaurants and food trucks, and can purchase additional Crawfish a la carte while supplies last. Not all vendors will accept cash, so please come prepared with an alternative form of payment.

  • Please keep in mind crawfish is a crustacean and therefore considered shellfish. If you have a shellfish allergy, please attend with caution. The only way to avoid an allergic reaction is to avoid all shellfish and products that contain shellfish. Even trace amounts of shellfish can cause a severe reaction in some people. If you have a shellfish allergy, talk with your doctor about carrying emergency epinephrine. Consider wearing a medical alert bracelet or necklace that lets others know you have a food allergy.

  • Keep Austin Weird Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil invites all crawfish enthusiasts to enjoy the event, including guests with disabilities.

    The event grounds are wheelchair accessible, but please be aware that this is an outdoor event situated in a park over natural terrain. If it should rain, there may be mud in some places. Please note the event does not provide wheelchairs for rent or loan. We also do not provide personal care, golf cart rides, or push service. Please plan ahead and bring attendants if needed. Please make arrangements in advance if a wheelchair is needed. Wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and three or four-wheeled scooters are allowed for use by Patrons with mobility disabilities. For safety reasons, requests to use other power-driven mobility devices will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

    Limited ADA Parking located at the West side parking lot on Chicon, north of Fiesta Gardens on a first-come, first-serve basis. In order to access ADA parking, vehicles must display a state-issued handicapped plate or placard and the person to whom the placard or plate is issued must be present in the vehicle. Follow map on parking pass to the traffic check point, then follow staff instruction and signs to designated ADA parking area.

    ADA portalets are placed in each restroom location.

TICKETING

  • All sales are final and there are no changes, exchanges, order cancellations, or refunds issued.

  • Absolutely, but we will not be accepting cash on-site. Quantities of each ticket type are limited, so we suggest you purchase early, online to guarantee entry. We plan to sell remaining tickets at the Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil Box Office on the day of the event pending availability. The Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil Box Office will be located at the intersection of Chicon & Jesse E. Segovia Streets, to the right of the Main Entrance. Credit will be accepted. Box Office hours are 10am to 7:00pm on Saturday, May 14th, 2022, or while ticket supplies last.

  • The Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil ticket purchases will most likely appear on your credit card statement referencing "Ticketbud", our online ticketing partner. The way the charge appears on your statement can vary if the purchase was made online or on-site at an event. If the ticket purchase was made online through our website or onsite at the Box Office, the charge on your statement typically includes one or more of the following references: "STRIPE", "TICKETBUD", "KEEP AUSTIN WEIRD", "FOREFRONT NETWORKS" or "AUSTIN, TX.

  • Not sure if your order went through? All you have to do is log into your Ticketbud account or enter the email address you used to register here. You can check to see that your order went through successfully on the Tickets page when logged in. Or search for a confirmation email from "Ticketbud" or "Stripe".

  • We are grateful for the service of our Military and First Responders, however, there is no military, senior, or student discount pricing available. All guests over 11 years old require a ticket. Pricing is $14.99* for General Admission event entry starting at 12:00 pm, $39.99* for GA+ that includes 3 lbs of Crawfish, 1 beer, and entry beginning at 12:00pm, and VIP at $69.99* that includes 4 lbs of Crawfish, 3 drinks of your choice and early entry beginning at 11:00 am. Children 10 and under receive free admission. *additional service charges and taxes apply.

  • Tickets can be purchased thru our website, https://www.keepaustinweird.live/crawfish-boil or thru or official ticketing partner, Ticketbud. Please be aware when considering tickets from any other website or source. We strongly discourage guests from purchasing tickets thru StubHub, Craigslist, and other ticket resellers and partners, as they are often invalid, and buyer beware. Only tickets thru keepaustinweird.live and Ticketbud are 100% guaranteed. We encourage you to purchase tickets in advance as opposed to at the event to be sure you don’t miss and to avoid long admission lines.

  • That is totally okay! The name on the ticket does not need to match the actual guest in physical attendance.

  • Event passes will be sent via email along with your order confirmation and receipt from our ticketing partner, Ticketbud. This email will include a link to download digital tickets to your wallet or view via a PDF attachment. Each ticket/barcode is valid for one person and can be scanned one time only. Please have this email handy and pull up your digital tickets on your smart phone (or print the attachment and bring with you) to present to Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil gate staff upon arrival for assistance. Entry passes will be scanned for validation and event admission, and wristband redemption. Tickets are required for guests 11 and up. Children 10 and under are complimentary with a ticketed adult.

  • Can't find them, having trouble printing, or not sure if you have an Ticketbud account? The easiest way to get your tickets is to find your email order confirmation; tickets are usually attached as a PDF file you can print. You can also log into Ticketbud at https://www.ticketbud.com, and click on the "My Tickets" page within your account. If you need further assistance, please email info@keepaustinweird.live and a Ticketbud customer service member will follow up with you directly.

  • All ticket sales to the Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil (General Admission, GA+, and VIP) are FINAL, and are nonrefundable and nonexchangable. Barring any extreme weather, lighting, or city park closures, the Twist 'N Snap Crawfish Boil is RAIN or SHINE. Tickets for outdoor events are purchased at risk of inclement weather. Your event ticket is a revocable license for the event date/time listed on the front. Management reserves the right without the refund of any portion of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission or to eject any person who fails to comply with the rules of the venue, local, state or federal law or whose conduct is deemed illegal, disorderly, or offensive by management. Persons entering the facility are subject to search for contraband, alcohol, controlled substances, weapons, firearms, fireworks, or other prohibited items, and subject to confiscation. Ticket user assumes all risks of personal injury incidental to the event, whether occurring before, during, or after the event. Ticket purchaser/user bears all risks, including cancellation of the event. Tickets lost or stolen cannot be replaced. The resale or attempted resale of this ticket at a price higher than that appearing on the ticket is prohibited and if discovered will result in the ticket being voided without refund. This ticket may not be used for advertising, promotion (including contests and sweepstakes) or other trade purposes without the express written consent of Management. Ticket user consents to the Management’s use of the ticket user’s image or likeness incidental to any video display, transmission or recording of the event. Exotic, dangerous, or aggressive pets will not be permitted at the discretion of event Security & Staff and refunds will not be issued for their owners.
